So today was my first day back to school after the holiday break and let me tell you I did NOT want to be there. It was actually awful and I found myself being very negative with everything around me. Then once I got home, my mood became soo much happier and I gained a positive outlook of things. My newly found happy attitude got me wishing that I could actually be happy at school because my day would overall be so much better. I then realised I can be happier  at school, all I need is positive attitude which can be very hard at times to have, so today I am going to be telling you some tricks on how to stay more positive and to improve your overall day.

Some people are often nervous about change. We can’t avoid it because change is a fact of life. Change has a negative connotation to it, but it isn’t always a bad thing. I am going to tell you about 3 powerful examples of why change is good.

  1. Being Flexible it allows you to learn to adapt to new environments, people, and situations. Don’t be closed minded to new situations because you might miss a really great opportunity.

Fashion Icons: Photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

Born near Paris in 1943 to a modest family, he spent his childhood in Le Havre with his mother and four brothers. For his seventeenth birthday, his stepfather bought him his first Eastman Kodak camera. Demarchelier learned how to develop film, retouch negatives and began shooting friends and weddings.

In 1975, he left Paris for New York to follow his girlfriend. He discovered fashion photography by working as a freelance photographer and learning and working with photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Terry King, and Jacque Guilbert. His work drew the attention of Elle, Marie Claire and 20 Ans Magazine.

He later worked for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, first in September 1992 which resulted in a 12-year collaboration. Demarchelier has shot international advertising campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Lacoste, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.
